At Edda's Cake Designs we are looking for outgoing, friendly and creative Cake Consultants to provide outstanding service to our customers!
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service; ensure customer needs are met in a timely fashion.
- Dynamically sell products by providing customers with information needed to make product-relation decisions
- Manage customer phone calls
- Monitor product quality and freshness and ensure proper rotation of products
- Properly stock storefront
- Maintain a clean and well organized work area
- Assist in other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- High energy, enthusiastic, and displays an affinity for our products and core values
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Must have good time management skills and the ability to multi-task with a calm demeanor
- Ability to follow directions, establish procedures, and prioritize tasks
- Ability to visually examine products for quality and specifications
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including early evenings, Saturdays, and holidays as needed
- Computer proficiency
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales is preferred
- Bilingual preferred- English is a must, Spanish is a plus
- Creativity and interest in custom cakes and other related products
